Under eye bags can leave one looking tired and lacking energy. But they can be treated. But before this let’s see what its causes are?
According to popular beliefs lack of sleep causes eye bags but such is not the case. The main cause for under eye bags are:
- Genetics
- Misplacement of fat and gravity
- Aging- With age thin tissue under the eye area weakens and loosens and fat beneath the eye area increase; this along with gravity creates baggy lower lids.
What treatments are available?
Eye bags can be treated using Carboxy Therapy and Mesotheraphy. In Carboxy Therapy carbon dioxide is injected into the area to promote oxygenation of the area and increases the blood flow.
Mesotheraphy is used in those cases if eye bags are caused by the increased fat in the area. These injections can be used to dissolve the excessive fat causing the bags.
What exacerbates the condition?
Lack of sleep, as well as rubbing of the eye area, pollution and salty foods that causes water retention, can make under eye bags appear worse.
