    Facial Capillaries Treatment

It’s easy to spot broken capillaries on someone’s face. These are characterized as red thread like lines located mainly on sun exposed areas especially on the nose and cheeks. Multiple broken capillaries on the face can give red appearance to the skin. They cause bruise-like spots on the face which are difficult to treat.

    Causes of broken capillaries

These are caused by number of reasons including:

    • Genetics
    • Excessive sun exposure
    • Pregnancy
    • Stress
    • Extremes of temperature and pressure on the area.

These capillaries are broken down causing blood to flow out leaving a red thread like spot.

    What treatment is available?

Laser treatment is a popular and effective way to treat broken capillaries. The laser targets the capillaries and shrinks them. It also helps them prevent the weakened surrounding capillaries from also breaking down.

How long does the treatment take?

The treatment takes just 15 minutes. You may need more than one treatment depending upon the severity of the capillaries.
